We are delighted to announce that the UK’s Department for Education has recently confirmed our application to be a Main Provider of apprenticeship programmes was successful. This builds on our successes as a supporting provider and opens up more opportunities for learners to access Government-funded opportunities to gain procurement qualifications.
For the past 3+ years Cordie has worked closely in partnership with Eastleigh College as a supporting provider to deliver the Level 4 Commercial Apprenticeship in Procurement & Supply. We have seen a large number of learners from both the public and private sectors join us, learn and grow as procurement professionals, gaining their CIPS Level 4 Diploma in Procurement & Supply in the process. Over 60% of our learners gained a distinction grade in their End Point Assessment project.
Upgrading to ‘main provider’ status opens up more opportunities for learners and employers to seek apprenticeship opportunities with us within the UK Government funded levy. Cordie already has cohorts of learners ready to start the Commercial Apprenticeship in September 2022 and we have plans to open up further opportunities for apprenticeships in both procurement (with CIPS) as well as supply chain and warehousing (CILT).
