New Commercial Apprenticeship Cohorts

It’s been buzzing these past few weeks! Cordie has just kicked off another two cohorts of the Commercial Apprenticeship - one with virtual learning, the other classroom-based. The apprentices come from a wide range of sectors and backgrounds, and will spend the next two years studying procurement and supply with the support of their employers and UK Government funding.

The first 18 months of the programme will focus on completion of the CIPS Level 4 Diploma in Procurement & Supply, as well as additional supported learning for key functional skills. This phase is due for completion by March 2024 at which point the apprentices launch into their End Point Assessment, which is a work-based practical project that showcases individual skills and behaviours.

Cordie Apprenticeship Programme Manager, Sarah Wallace, commented:

By running two cohorts in parallel, we have been able to satisfy the needs of all learners when it comes to mode of study. Apprentices now have the opportunity to switch cohort according to their preferred learning style, which brings in extra flexibility and contingency on dates. We will be bringing the two cohorts together from time-to-time so that networking, applied learning and social learning can enhance the overall experience. This has proved really popular already.

Cordie is now actively recruiting for the next intake for the Commercial Apprenticeship, which is due for launch in January 2023. Do you think you’ve got what it takes? Are you looking to demonstrate your abilities and gain a professional qualification while being supported by your employer and mentored by some of the industry’s leading experts in procurement?

Or maybe you are just curious to find out more about whether this is the right potential learning programme for you. Either way, please feel free to get in touch for a confidential discussion about how our programme works and to find out if this is right for you individually.
