Ofsted Success!

We are delighted to announce the results of our first Ofsted inspection!

Cordie has been a registered main provider on the Department of Education’s “Register of Approved Training Providers” since 2022, and before that we were registered as a specialist subcontractor on the same Register. This has enabled us to provide high quality education to procurement apprentices since 2019 and we have some of the highest achievement rates in the country.

Ofsted is the UK Government’s regulator of educational standards for learners of all ages. As well as inspecting schools and colleges, Ofsted also inspects adult education and independent training providers, such as Cordie.

Inspections are carried out on a regular basis against a published quality standard: the “Education Inspection Framework”. You can find out more about the work of Ofsted here.

Last month’s inspection report has now been published. You can find out more here:

The results of “reasonable progress” against each of the three themes of inspection represent a notable external independent verification of our developments in apprenticeship provision. Amongst other things, the Ofsted inspectors were quick to praise our ambitious approach towards curriculum delivery, the safe environment and well-being that we offer, and the rapid progress and achievements of our learners.

Do get in touch if you would like to find out more either about this Ofsted inspection, or in general about our apprenticeship programmes.
