Our Safeguarding Commitments

Your safety and wellbeing while learning with us is our paramount concern.

Cordie is 100% committed to the protection and safeguarding of all learners within our remit (including young people, vulnerable adults and/or apprentices). We have effective control mechanisms to safeguard against harm, and we require everyone at Cordie to share this commitment.

Safeguarding is the process of taking all reasonable measures to minimise any possible risks of harm to an individual’s welfare and, if required, to take all appropriate actions to address such risks. This is especially relevant when delivering training and education services.

Our Policies

Cordie operates a number of policies to ensure we fulfil all responsibilities towards the safeguarding and wellbeing of people within our remit and that we conduct business ethically, transparently and with integrity. This includes:

  • Our safeguarding policy

  • Our anti-radicalisation policy

  • Our diversity and equal opportunities policy

  • Our mental health and wellbeing policy

  • Our modern slavery policy

  • Our whistleblowing policy.

You can find all of these policies (and more) at the “our policies” page on this website. These are regularly reviewed and updated by our leadership team.
