Once again, Cordie has been re-accredited with Cyber Essentials Plus certification that provides the necessary reassurance on our information security.
The Cyber Essentials scheme is run by the UK Government’s National Cyber Security Centre to confirm protection against a wide variety of the most common cyber attacks. It is important because vulnerability to simple attacks can mark any organisation out as target for more in-depth unwanted attention from cyber criminals and others. The Cyber Essentials certification gives peace of mind to both ourselves, our customers and our supply chain that Cordie’s defences will protect against the vast majority of common cyber attacks.
The Cyber Essentials Plus certification that Cordie has involves a hands-on technical verification of both on-site and off-site protections. Having and maintaining this certification has been a minimum requirement since 2014 for all UK Government suppliers that handle personal and sensitive information.
