New CIPS Level 4 Study Guides

NEW: The revised CIPS Level 4 study guides are now available for purchase directly from the CIPS Bookshop. These have been updated in line with the new Level 4 Diploma syllabus release for the March 2024 exams and beyond.

Inside, you will note a few key changes:

  • The content is aligned directly to the learning outcomes of the forthcoming 2024 syllabus, meaning that you can look up any learning content within the syllabus and find more detail and explanation within the guide;

  • They contain a new front section entitled “How to use our study guides” where they explain how these study guides support the syllabus;

  • The content has been reviewed for its accuracy and updated (for example, the study guides now recognise the UK is no longer part of the EU).

Altogether, these make a very welcome addition to the learning resources available for students of the CIPS Level 4 Diploma - and we eagerly look forward to when the same can be on offer for the Level 5 and Level 6 qualifications.

CIPS learners still need to be cautious when studying from these new guides. While the improvements are welcome, the guides still contain misleading content that is not assessed in the CIPS exams such as an over-reliance on English law for these international qualifications. Learners must remember that CIPS does not write these books themselves, and nor do they assess them in their exams. These guides are designed simply to ‘support’ your studies.”
