HOT OFF THE PRESS: we are delighted to announce that the Institute for Apprenticeships & Technical Education has recently approved the long-awaited Level 6 Senior Procurement & Supply Chain Professional apprenticeship!
This brand new apprenticeship will allow procurement managers to progress through the CIPS Level 6 Professional Diploma on a Government-funded learning programme. This means that all levy-paying employers will now have the opportunity of allowing their staff to access funding for the CIPS Level 6 studies.
The minimum entry requirements will continue to be the CIPS Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Procurement & Supply, and it is also strongly recommended you obtain your Level 2 functional skills in English and Maths.
The apprenticeship programme will focus on providing comprehensive learning for each of the core [mandatory] modules (M1, M2 and M3), with the focus on key themes such as: leadership, strategy and global supply chain management. The apprenticeship also allows for three of the supplementary [optional] modules, such as supply network design, commercial data management or programme leadership.
Once these six exams have been completed, learners move on to one of the most exciting elements of this apprenticeship: the end-point assessment. This project-based assignment will cover the requirements of the L6M4 Future Strategic Challenges of the Profession module, as well as ensure critical educational elements of project work, case study assignment writing, presenting and questioning are included within the final assessment.
As soon as we have designed and developed our programme, we will update these pages. We want to give our learners leading-edge thinking in procurement and supply, as well as access to current day leaders in procurement.
We already have some exciting ideas in the pipeline, so if you are interested in finding out more do please get in touch via the contact form at the bottom of this page.
