Cordie is delighted to announce that once again we have passed our annual Cyber Essentials Plus certification, giving reassurance to all our customers and learners that we have the appropriate systems and processes in place to protect personal data and commercial information.
Cyber Essentials is the UK government certification scheme run by the National Cyber Security Centre to confirm protection against a wide variety of common cyber attacks. It is important because vulnerability to simple attacks can mark any organisation out as target for more in-depth unwanted attention from cyber criminals and others. The Cyber Essentials Plus certification gives peace of mind to both ourselves, our customers and our supply chain that Cordie’s defences will protect against the vast majority of common cyber attacks..
All professional services providers should be Cyber Essentials Plus accredited because they are involved in interacting with clients on confidential material, including reviewing commercial information and having access to client personal data. Information security and assurance is critical to give clients that comfort and confidence that we have best practice processes and systems in place to protect client data and keep your information secure.
“We continue to take information security very seriously,” said Cordie Managing Director Andrea Reynolds. “This is one of the greatest areas of risk our modern society and sadly very few training providers in the procurement and commercial space have this level of accreditation. Without this certification, you have to question whether a training provider is willing or able to keep confidential information secure. This could involve personal data, intellectual property or any other confidential matter. Training providers become critical friends and trusted advisers to their clients, and we at Cordie count this as a privilege. We will continue to keep all our systems and processes as secure as possible in the interests of cyber security”.
