It’s been a week of celebration at Cordie! One of the greatest joys we have working with young procurement professionals is when we observe various achievements and personal breakthroughs among our learning community.
Of particular mention, we were delighted to hear that our cohort of CIPS learners from Argentina achieved a 100% pass-rate from their September exams. This is a remarkable achievement given the lack of available learning support in that geographical region (no CIPS branch, no CIPS network, extremely limited exam centre availability, etc). Learners are required to study learning material and sit their exams in English, rather than their native language, and this can present a significant barrier. In reality, these learners’ exam results understate their true capabilities, understanding and knowledge.
Cordie also received good news about the End Point Assessments from our latest Commercial Apprenticeship cohort. Of particular mention is Jamie, whose hard work and dedication was rewarded with a distinction grade - therefore maintaining Cordie’s statistical average that 50% of our passes achieve a distinction grade on the Commercial Apprenticeship.
“Naturally we are delighted with these results,” said Andrea Reynolds, Cordie’s managing director. “Everyone in the Cordie team works hard to ensure our learners are equipped as best they can be for their assessments and we are hugely proud and often quite emotional on behalf of our learners. These results prove that hard work and diligent study really does pay off!”
